A long term commitment for a small amount; give a child the guarantee of a brighter future and the reassurance that someone is behind them for the whole of their schooling.
You will be sponsoring a specific child and will know their name as well as receive regular updates on their progress. Your child will be writing to you regularly in English as part of their studies.
Children selected for sponsorship are of secondary school age, and have shown a real commitment to completing their education. The commitment period is approximately 6-8 years.

Sponsor a university student
For many families, having their child obtain the school leaving exam is already a major success.
They are now expected to support their families financially, so further university education is often out of the question.
Having someone who is prepared to sponsor them to achieve their full potential, is not only a financial help, but also a big moral boost.
Even more so if you are working in the same field as they aspire to.
Sponsorship duration is between 3 to 5 years depending on the course, and we will keep you updated regularly on your sponsored students progress. Communciation between both of you is of course recommended, and will be handled by Mayaa Nepal.
Sponsoring a student will help someone like Anita, now a successful business woman and ambassador for Nepali culture, who is supporting her family, helping her local community.
